Automated tests, shared-target Release builds, unsigned archive inspection, and the candidate screenshot gallery are green, but the release packet is explicitly not ready. External policy, distribution, hardware, and exact-upgrade evidence remain open.

Home and appearance
- A shared Home workspace for Library, Notebook, and Watch across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Aurora, Paper, and Signal themes with separate Auto, Light, and Dark appearance.
- Article and Watch fields add https:// when an address omits a scheme.
Watch saved sites and privacy
- Watch starts without a bundled or remembered website.
- Standard uses persistent WebKit website data and keeps local, versioned Favorites plus normalized History capped at 500 completed visits.
- Favorites and History support opening entries and category-scoped single, selected, and delete-all actions; Favorites can also be renamed.
- Clear Website Data remains separate from Favorites and History.
- Incognito uses a non-persistent WebKit store, adds no History, and destroys its session on exit; an explicitly saved Favorite persists locally.
Conditional native playback
- Video websites open in WebKit for discovery, sessions, cookies, and provider controls.
- Eligible direct HTTP(S) HLS or MP4 sources can move temporarily to AVPlayer.
- Eligible native playback can support AirPlay, Picture in Picture, background and lock-screen playback, Automatic/1080p/720p limits, reported resolution, and exact time jumps.
- Skip Ads is optional, defaults off, applies only to short finite segments, and has a consecutive-skip safety limit.
- Unsupported, DRM, cookie-bound, or hidden sources stay website-only.
- Leaving the player or workspace explicitly tears down website and native playback.
Apple Intelligence
- Reader summaries run on-device through Apple’s system Foundation Models capability.
- The feature appears only when the system capability is supported, enabled, and ready.
- A summary is stored only when the user explicitly saves it to the notebook.
Watch boundary
What the app may do
Pass an eligible direct media URL in memory to Apple's native player for compatible playback capabilities.
What it does not do
Download, proxy, convert, persist, save, or add video content to the article library, or bypass DRM and access controls.

Local site readiness is only one checkpoint.
- A rights-cleared, stable Watch review URL and authorization evidence.
- Publication and logged-out verification of the aligned public feature, support, and privacy site.
- Signed iOS and macOS archives, Organizer/App Store Connect validation, upload processing, and build-number uniqueness.
- Physical iPhone, iPad, and Mac playback QA with a real AirPlay receiver.
- Exact 1.0 build-to-source mapping and the full upgrade matrix with real 1.0 data.
